K. Gautier takes influence from neoclassical, post-rock, and cinematic genres and dreams of capturing epic soundscapes. He began with indie worship band Seeker & Servant, then went on to write The Prevailing, introducing a string quartet and poetry. He then started a side project with guitarist Jacob Bennett as The Mountainous. Overall his music seeks to glorify the source of hope, Jesus Christ.
